RC6 blocks have been designed for all kinds of racing, including long-distance. The sintered mixture of RC6 blocks provides a high and constant coefficient of friction at the level of µ = 0.5, from the first application of the brake until the temperature of 1000 degrees. The blocks are characterized by excellent modulation of the braking force and initial bite. The blocks also work in the cold up to the temperature of 1100 degrees C. The undoubted advantage of RC6 blocks is their low wear, which allows for much greater mileage. RC6 pads can wear brake discs more quickly.
